Matthew V. HairfordChairman of the Board and Director
Mr. Hairford is the President and Chair of the Operating Committee of Matador Resources Company. Mr. Hairford joined Matador Resources Company in July 2004 as its Drilling Manager. He was named Vice President of Drilling in May 2005; Vice President of Operations in May 2006; Executive Vice President of Operations in May 2009; and in November 2013 assumed the title of President.
Mr. Hairford started his career in 1984 with Conoco, Inc. Since then he has worked in various drilling engineering and leadership capacities for Samson Resources, Conoco, Inc. and Sonat, Inc. His operational areas have included the Delaware Basin, Appalachian Basin, Illinois Basin, Val Verde Basin, Texas Panhandle and Louisiana Gulf Coast. Mr. Hairford received his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University in 1984. He is an active member of the American Association of Drilling Engineers, the American Petroleum Institute and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Hairford has also undertaken additional training through Stanford University’s Executive Education programs, including, most recently, the Stanford Graduate School of Business flagship six week Stanford Executive Program.
G. Gregg KrugDirector
Mr. Krug is the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Midstream for Matador Resources Company. He joined Matador Resources Company in April 2012 as its Marketing Manager. In September 2013 he was named Vice President of Marketing for the Company and Vice President of Longwood Gathering & Disposal Systems, LP, and he was promoted to Senior Vice President — Marketing and Midstream in February 2016. He has overall responsibility for Matador’s marketing activities of its oil and natural gas, as well as responsibility for all business aspects for Longwood Gathering & Disposal Systems, LP.
Mr. Krug has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, and prior to joining Matador Resources Company, Mr. Krug served in various marketing and midstream positions at Unit Petroleum Company, Samson Resources and The Williams Companies. Mr. Krug received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma City University in 1996. Mr. Krug has also completed an Executive Education course on strategy at Harvard Business School.
Matthew D. SpicerDirector
Mr. Spicer is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Midstream for Matador Resources Company and has primary responsibility for the day-to-day management and operations of San Mateo Midstream. Mr. Spicer joined Matador Resources Company in March 2014 as Senior Representative of Business Development and was promoted to Manager of Business Development and then General Manager of Midstream later in 2014. In October 2015, Mr. Spicer was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Midstream. More recently, in August 2018, Mr. Spicer was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager of Midstream.
Prior to joining Matador Resources Company, Mr. Spicer served as the Director of Flight Operations for L-3 Unmanned Systems, also serving in various roles including as Program Manager and in Business Development during his tenure with L-3, which began in 2011. Mr. Spicer served in the United States Marine Corps from 1991 to 2014, both in active duty and as a reservist, before his retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2014. He also served as a first officer with American Airlines from 2000 to 2003 following his active duty in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Spicer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Central Michigan University in 1991.
David N. CapobiancoDirector
Mr. Capobianco is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Five Point Capital Partners. Since founding Five Point in 2011, Mr. Capobianco has built Five Point into a leading strategic partner and midstream capital provider with more than $1 billion of capital under management. Mr. Capobianco has a demonstrated track record of investment success, significant experience with midstream companies and investments, extensive relationships throughout the industry, and deep familiarity with developing world-class energy infrastructure companies and MLPs, which enhance his contributions to our board of directors. Mr. Capobianco currently serves on the boards of various midstream and energy companies.
Prior to founding Five Point, Mr. Capobianco was a founder and served as the co-head of the Private Equity Group of Vulcan Capital. During his tenure at Vulcan, Mr. Capobianco led Vulcan’s energy and energy infrastructure investment efforts, including investments in Vulcan Energy Corporation (formerly Plains Resources), Plains All American (NYSE: PAA), and Energy Center Investments (now PAA Natural Gas Storage). Before joining Vulcan, Mr. Capobianco was a senior member of Greenhill Capital Partners, Harvest Partners, and began his career within the Energy Corporate Finance Group at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Capobianco holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Morrow has a demonstrated track record of operating and investment success, deep experience and expertise structuring, building and enhancing midstream companies and investments, and extensive relationships throughout the industry, which enhance his contributions to our board of directors. Mr. Morrow currently serves on the boards of various midstream and energy companies.
Prior to joining Five Point, Mr. Morrow served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Iberdrola Energy Holdings (which owned Iberdrola Energy Services and ENSTOR). Prior to joining Iberdrola with the sale of ENSTOR, Mr. Morrow, as President and CEO, developed the ENSTOR team and built the company into one of the largest North American independent storage providers. Before joining PPM, Mr. Morrow held various senior positions at Texaco Natural Gas within Sabine Pipeline and Sabine Hub Services, up to and including President. Mr. Morrow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.
